Hands On Assignment #2 Social media has been part of our world for a little bit now and it has been something that we have used to connect with friends and also grow personal appearance. In this generation social media is something that makes a persons image or ruins it depending on their follower count and that is not the intent that these social media developers intended it to be. In my personal experiences social media has been defined as a platform to connect friends and have the ability to post whatever they want to. I think it is a way to express peoples accomplishments without having to send a card to everyone they know. Social networking is something that has grown over the past few years and many people connect and make business deals by this as that is what networking is. The social networking sites that I use right now are Instagram, Snapchat, and Tik Tok. The way I use these sites are for me to connect with friends and see how everyone is doing throughout each others lives....

Social Media Thoughts

  Social media has been part of society for the most part in our generations lives, most people who are reading this blog can relate that they have had social media for as long as they can remember. When social media first came out it was more of a platform for people to express themselves, the negatives were not discovered yet as it was fairly new as well as the users were younger. The Do's and Don'ts of social media can depend on the person as each individual uses it different so whether they do something or do not just depends. For me personally when it comes to social media, I want to use my platforms as a way to connect with people and post content that I find enjoyable. The first Do would be that, I post what I want and do not let others lead me to post other things and the other would be that I do use social media to meet new people. Metrics and Analytics

  In today's society social media has been the back bone of how many people live their lives, some use these platforms to establish an income and some use it just for the fun of it. When it comes to being famous the article did a great job at describing how it all works behind the scenes of these people. The way the article tells the reader how everything works behind the scenes is great because without looking into these type of things the general public would have no clue. When talking about how when we google our names, how google and the EU have in a way teamed up, I found that interesting as it does make sense that the most generic names out there do not have any google platform and personal information is hidden for security reasons. During this reading, I myself went ahead and experimented with putting name in google to see what happens and if this article was telling the truth.
